| A one-stop shop for every day conveniences, Tata Star Bazaar is a retail grocery famous for quality products and customer service. With increasing supermarket competition, they needed guidance in creating a scalable, cohesive identity to facilitate the buyer in a veritably crowded environment.
The store’s personality as a spacious and vibrant store gave it an advantage that we could use. Hence, we introduced an organised signage system in neutral grey and contrasting colours. In a departure from photographs, we developed an illustrative visual language that embraced existing features and categories of the store – fruits, bakery, décor, etc. A distinctive typographic map guided the customer, just as in-store communication, graphics and signage system firmly positioned the store as communicating a sense of quality and approachability.
